Whaaaaaaaa First post! ^.^

So today I was sitting around thinking to myself. I decided I want to share my life with anyone who would like to take part. I have had this account for a while now, but never managed to do anything with it.

Ta-da!
I want to dedicate this to my enjoyment of life. You'll get to engage in my laughs, cries, and everything in between.

I also want to take t he time to share some of my creativity with you all. Yes, this means makeup, painting, photography, books, ummm oh and my nerdiness :D
If there's anything you want to know or see, tell me! I'll do my best to entertain haha.

So today I will start out with what I've accomplished earlier.
I went to Happy Japan. This place is just full of cuteness!
They had the cutest Totoro things! If you didn't know already I LOVE LOVE LOVE Totoro.

After I pried myself away, I went to the farmer's market. There I found the cutest little ring!I also ended up with 4 gallons of corn haha. I can't tell you how much I love corn with salt and butter.

I also had a watermelon icee with creme.

Next was Sonobana Japanese Grocery Store. There I got my favourite Kewpie mayo, takoyaki, ume, matcha, and come croquettes.

Mmmmmm oishii! My mouth waters thinking about it.

After I left, I then went to K&S World Market where I bought my favourite Meiji Karl cheese puffs, duck, oden mix, bonito, nikuman, masago, daikon, aloe drink and some other things. I was so happy! I love food nom nom! I will say they have a great selection of meats and seafood. All the fish were still alive in the tanks! They carried duck, which I have been looking for. They also carried duck heads which almost made me sick looking at. I am talking eye sockets beak and all. YUCK! -.-

Finally when I got home I decided to make matcha pound cake. The recipe was fairly simple. I may have to make a post on just how to make matcha pound cake! I didn't make enough mix, so the loaf turned out a little flat, so next time I'll just have to make double the mix. The cake tastes soooo good though. I'll be making this a lot more often.

I also plan on making chawanmushi tonight. It's a Japanese custard type dish. I forgot all about it until recently. I haven't eaten any since I moved from Japan. I hope it turns out okay! Anyway the rest of the night is going to involve cooking and the Harry Potter weekend on tv. Jaa ne!
